Judge William G. “Bill” Meyer elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals

His election occurred in August 2021, by the vote of the membership of NADCP.

Judge Meyer is one of the original founders of the treatment court field and among the earliest presiding drug treatment court judges in the nation. Among his other foundational achievements, he chaired the committee that drafted the 10 Key Components of Drug Court and founded and served as presiding judge of the Denver Drug Court, the 12th drug court in the country. Since that time, Judge Meyer has served as a senior judicial fellow for the National Drug Court Institute, where he has contributed substantially to curriculum development and training to more than 3,700 treatment courts and served as the first Senior Judicial Fellow.  His election occurred in August 2021, by the vote of the membership of NADCP.
